Abadenn Drag

Abadenn oscillates between performance, representation and play. This project explores the dynamics developed within the drag scene at The Violon Vert, in Brittany’s countryside. The videos captured by Abracadaddy,  the creator of these events, are interwoven with archive footage to tell a collective story in which our voices engage in dialogue with those of Pat, Lady Gwerz, Oscar, Ingrid, Allumette and Maman. Together, we weave reflections on the role of drag, the concept of family, the inclusivity and exclusivity of communities,and their porosity. The importance of feeling seen and heard.
