Si je pouvais vivre dans un clown en porcelaine is a journey through
our trans* king-and-queendoms in Valais. This crossing from the
past to the future blends autobiography and community voices,
giving the project a tone that is both intimate and political, and
offering a space to talk about transness; about our struggles and our
defenses, about representation and community. The metaphor of
the kingdom symbolizes the trans* experience and its foundations,
while allowing us to imagine new futures, utopian worlds.
We will thus traverse, step by step, several king-and-queemdoms
that intertwine my own narrative with those of my trans* and
valaisan·ne·x siblings, offering diverse and valuable perspectives on
their own journeys.
